Kale, do I need to transplant?

Hi All!
Tim here from NH. Question, I started some kale on 3/12 and plan to put them out on 4/22. Do you think I need to transplant to larger pots before then? Their roots are coming out the bottom (they are on capillary mats) of the containers. These are 2 1/2" 6pks I was hoping not to have repot them!
