Copper sink

I am curious if copper sinks stay copper or do they eventually turn green? Never have considered one until now. Thanks!

most copper used in these types of applications will not turn green - many have a protective coating and if you keep the copper clean oxidation won't build up. I wouldn't worry about copper turning green in this type of application.

Copper is very easy to take care of! Our sinks are made out of 99.6% recycled copper and have troughed corners to eliminate food particles getting trapped. If you just wash the sink with warm soapy water and wipe down it will not turn green. If any discoloration occurs simply wash with warm soapy water and within a few days the oil rubbed bronze color will regenerate. Copper is amazing! It is also antibacterial and antimicrobial and best of all, it is a heat conductor!
