A Chuckle ...

I was in Home Depot today speaking with a woman about adeniums. She told me she didn't know "what that long thing that grows on the plant is." She thought the entire pod was one seed and buried it whole 3 different times and wondered why nothing grew.

Thank God for this forum!!

Yes, of course, Gill. She was floored by all the information. I also introduced her to this forum and to Ramon Martin's "Mis Adeniums" FB page in Spain. And I gave her my cell so she can call me the next time she has a pod.

The image of her digging "a long hole in the soil," as she put it, to plant the entire pod has me giggling since yesterday!
