Donna, the season is not over yet! I harvested the first pod two days ago, Amputo x Mystica, and some seeds are already floating. I'm waiting for some pods on Mocca (huge!) and Rosario to ripen. I will send you seeds if they are viable :-)

Dontcha hate when that happens? The same thing happened to me with Exotic Star x Santos. I wonder if this is a papilio blood line thing or just bad luck? I wish you luck with your one and only.

@ Blanca and Donna: You understood right, Blanca, there is no Mocca x Rosario, I was talking about pods on Mocca and on Rosario. But actually one of the pods on Rosario is Rosario x Mocca :-) I'll tell you what the others are after harvesting the seeds. No sign of germination on the Amputo x Mystica seeds yet but Amputo seems to be a slow acting bulb. Maybe its seeds need time too.

Fred, didn't you say that you have a few seedlings of Exotic Star and Santos? None of the first batch of your seeds germinated for me but there is still hope. I have some more in the refrigerator that I will try when temperatures are higher...

Only 4 out of 20 or so germinated but the ones with spots did not even though they had a noticeable embryo that was firm to the touch.

I haven't been successful in getting any seed pods yet. Every time I think I might be able to collect pollen and do some pollination, it starts raining again. :( I was planning to try a Glee x Evergreen. I tried Evergreen and Rose Cybister in both directions, but I don't see anything developing. There is still time.

Oh farts!!!!!

I'm still seedless. All of the pods that appeared to be developing have withered and died. I'm still hopeful though. I did a crummy job of documenting things. I should have put hang tags on the various flowers, so I'd know what the actual cross was.

I'm still seedless too and now I've got all this lovely Sonatini pollen with striped leaves and nothing to put it on!!! Maybe something will pop up this summer and of course I still have more Sonatinis to bloom.....
