Just moved into a new apartment (still unpacking, excuse the mess) and trying to make the best of what we've got. It's an old building, built in 1923, and we can't paint anything. What type of window treatment would work best here? I want to get rid of the crappy blinds. We use the door to our balcony (in between the windows) often. One curtain rod on top? How many curtain panels? Floor length? I'm a student and new to any sort of decorating, all ideas appreciated!
