last modified: 9 years ago

OK so I am in metro Detroit area of Michigan we got about a week of really nice weather in early Feb I got a lil over ambitious and planted some milkweed thinking I'd be able to get it out sooner this is my first time plant milkweed so now all the seeds I germinated and planted grew however they're outgrowing containers and now some are starting to die..I looked online and it looks like the danger of frost (50/50) in my area of MI will be April 30 it's pretty nice out lately a lot of rain not too too cold at night but I'm not sure exactly the temps anyways just wondering when I can safely transplant them and what I should do until then to keep more from dying here's some pics the ones in the peat pots roots grew out of the bottom so I put another little pot of soil underneath and they're growing through into that now too..I have more seed s I'm germinating now for planting in a couple weeks but I don't wanna lose more of these..advice? Thanks for reading my long post lol

I had way more in the plastic container before probably 6-7 have died just the past couple days :(
