I have one at my summer place; I made the stained glass panels myself thirty years ago in high sKoOL to fit a now 70 year old exterior door. People love it at sunset, when the colors dance around the room.

If you're the least bit handy, I'd go for a salvage door and take a stained glass making class -- it's so easy, I even taught my husband! And everything I've ever made, I've also designed, so I get exactly what I want. It does take a bit of experience to do that though, as glass will only break a certain way, so you have to know what shapes you can make, and what will be self-supporting. A glass teacher could help you with that if you have a design in mind.
