My pawpaw trees are alive!

Last spring I planted a Shenandoah, and a Susquehanna pawpaw tree. As this is my first time trying to plant something, I was astonished, amazed, and delighted to see that they are budding out! One even seems to have a flower bud forming!!! I'm a little embarrassed at how excited I am about this. I just wanted to share the good news!

I planted a Contender peach last month, and it seems to be pretty happy too!

I planted Caroline and Anne raspberries last week, and put a Patriot blueberry in a pot last week. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I'm sure he'll grow to appreciate my new found growing obsession when we taste our first fruits!

Congratulations on your new orchard. Peach trees and raspberries are fast growing and rewarding. Pawpaws need more patience.

Looks great. Pawpaws are always a little worrying on planting at first because their roots look terrible (at least to me) when you receive them.

That's so exciting ! Pawpaws are definitely nerve racking once they are in the ground - I planted my 3 trees last year (April-May 2016) - KSU-ATWOOD & two seedling from Hirt's Gardens - I've been doing everything I can to nurture them - One of them doubled in size and started to form flower buds at the end of this season (2017), which is crazy exciting - It's bigger than yours though (about 3-4 ft tall), but still small.. It's my prized Pawpaw tree at the moment though lol.. How did your pawpaws grow this season?
