Hi Heather, our Glasseco product is on the counters only. I do not know about the backsplash. If you would like me to reach out to the homeowner, I can try. It does appear to me to be a subway style tile.

Also, our product can be used as a backsplash. We just pour it thinner, it is a solid piece. Your only restriction may be the size of glass you use vs the thickness of the material.
