First time grower.

3 Bush tomatoes about 4 weeks old . I had planted them each in their own large pots made from news paper.

At about week 3 the mature leafs started to yellow a bit. I googled and figured I had been overwatering and the newspaper pots were retaining all the water.

So I made some holes and didn't water for a week, and they began to wilt. I gave them a slight watering and leafs started to yellow more.

Today I decided to transplant into some 16oz plastic pots. As I was taking the tomatoes out there was what looked to be some mold/mildew around the dirt. I shook off as much dirt as i could and transplanted deep into the new pot.

i'm curious what the prognosis is from what I've described. Should I start over. Also I have pictures of the leafs before trans planting. my cam sucks.
