Not sure, but some suggestions:

Anyone used herbicide nearby such as a weed and feed on the lawn?

Have you flipped over the damaged leaves and looked carefully for tiny insects?

I can't tell from the photos, but are they the newest leaves or older ones? If they are older and new ones are coming in normally, I wouldn't worry.

No herbicides near there. And I usually don't have much problem with insects. Haven't noticed any, but I looked just now in case there would be any at night since its @midnight here now... I can't see any. There are two little bits of leaves chewed, but that's it. And that is on two of the smallest leaves.

Its hard to tell for me too, what are the newest leaves and what are the older ones. They are all mixed together. Most of the leaves that are the normal solid green color are smaller though. So maybe they are newer?

Hopefully you are right and nothing to worry about. I only have two clematis, and the second one is only a year old. They are planted near each other. I would really like to keep my HF Young healthy. Its so pretty.
