Santa Rosa is self fertile, no pollinator needed.

I'm in Columbia and have been growing SR for many years. It's a bullet proof tree with no disease issues. If the worms are eating the leaves, just spray them with an insecticide. While it is self fertile, cross pollination with a another variety such as AU Rubrum will guarantee a heavy fruit set.

Bartlett will cause constant FB problems, so I would remove it. A better choice would have been Pineapple. It's delicious, self fertile and FB resistant.

Possibly my mistake. I believe I was thinking of a satsuma. Santa Rosa do produce more with a pollinator.

I don't spray pears nor apples, only peaches, plums, nectarines, and pluots, and only for insects..
