Ray Bly: these are beautiful. I'm in east Texas where it seems that anything "green" is harder to come by or at least as not understood by the trades. We're building a house and lyptus has come back on my radar as a possible wood to be used for my cabinets - and maybe floors. Can you tell me how readily available lyptus is? Is it more popular in the NW or do you think I should be able to convince my cabinet maker that it's easy to find? Thanks for any input you may have.

Thank you for the Nice comment, Lyptus should be easily available almost anywhere, The Weyerhaeuser corporation is the main driving force behind it, also There is hardwood flooring manufactured from lyptus as well. I google searched lyptus in Texas and found several places that carry it one being Dakota premium hardwoods In Austin.

Thank You and good luck on your project.
