Here is my fireplace. The whole house is painted very beige and blah. I am going for a transitional look in my home and need something to do with my fireplace. It has nice angles and is definitely not something you see every day. I was thinking about stone, but I don't want to take away from the angles - or maybe doing stone on either side around the windows?
Then I was thinking about painting it, but I really have no clue. My floors are an ugly brown/red square porcelain and I'm not interested in ripping them up anytime soon. I was planning on painting the majority of my house in BM Edgecomb Gray. Help! The second picture of the entire sitting room with all the couches was a realtor photo and is not my furniture.
