I did hire a professional and she's not finished yet I like what she did in my bedrooms but the rest of the house I'm not so happy but she's going to fix it I did give her a budget of 15,000 but I went over that and I'm still not happy

What beautiful architecture. I like a lot of what the decorator did, but I would want at least one, maybe two, table lamps or floor lamps in the living space. Also a few accessories with a bit more texture. For example switch out the bowl on the island.

Did you post about this before? Since you like the bedrooms, can you post pictures of them for comparison?

:( there is no "life" in this design. I would give some colors to the curtains, because everything it's to blend. Change the chandelier from dinning table, and put some lights above kitchen island. Also, add some decoration.

What do the dining chairs look like under the slipcovers. I think the slipcovers have to go.

I am struck by the same-ness throughout the space and that the dining area looks very cramped. I'd remove all but 4 dining chairs and bring out more just for need. The floating sofa adds to the cramped feeling in the dining area; have you tried other configurations in the living room? The chandelier seems too big for the table size, but you might be able to balance the visual with accessories elsewhere. Adding light fixtures-table/floor lamps, and art etc. can lessen the starkness. Start with your favorite colors and add them. Don't forget a bit of whimsy! Greenery, perhaps a small fig tree, will also help a lot. Your designer should be able to help you put finishing touches which warm up these spaces. Good luck!
