Now that's a show-stopper for sure! Growing near a west wall would prolong that gorgeous yellow display much longer I would think. Simply beautiful and quickens the hosta heart.

I find I am gravitating more and more to the thick leaved Hostas - they stand up well to wind and the slugs and snails don't go for them first. They just look fabulous all season long and who doesn't want that!

Last year I planted a similar hosta (Liberty) on the far end of my yard. I can see it all the way from my deck. It brings me a smile each time... I am enjoying watching it unfurl.

reminds me a bit of grand prize

Grand Prize does have those wide yellow margins, but the leaves are smaller.

Grand Prize shares the colouring, but with mine, the leaves aren't quite as blue and yes, the leaves are smaller. It is just starting to unfurl now.

Here is my still young Liberty which i absolutely love too. Can't wait until it gets bigger.
