Not a Phoenix... leaflets oriented the wrong way. Phoenix leaflets, when cut in cross section, have the 'V' shape open towards the the sky (called 'induplicate'), while Jubaeas are the opposite ('reduplicate')... your photo fits a Jubaea much better than a Phoenix. Look also for basal spines... Jubaeas have no spines at the leaves bases, while Phoenix have long, sharp and stiff (dangerous!) ones.

The two candidates mentioned by OP were Butia and Jubaea.

Yes, I know it's not a Phoenix.

It's down to Butia (Pindo) palm or Jubaea chilensis.

A clearer shot of the base or leaf bases would help ID it. It doesn't look like my jubaea because my jubaea has fuller fronds (the leaflets are spaced close together). It looks like the leaf on the right is a bit glaucous too, which seems more indicative of butia. If I had to guess without looking at the base I'd say it's butia.

oops... not sure why I thought you asked about a Phoenix... sure looks Butia to me.

Palmbob, the reason I am confused about the identify of the palm that I posted is based on the following reason:

1.) Leaves are reduplicate (leaves shape is a ^ rather than flat or v)

2.) Growth is much SLOWER than my known Butias.

I know I had one true Jubaea in my collection but got it mixed up with one the Butias and either the Butia or the Jubaea died several years ago. I want to have a Jubaea in my collection, so if this is not one, I will eventually acquire another.
