Nice! Looks happy and healthy! Amazing the climate difference. In Ohio this bloomed in July, and here in NH, my clematis are only just starting to push out leaves.

What a beauty! My two sweet jackmanii are still sleeping underground and are also under the +/- 2" of snow that fell yesterday.

Babs -- In addition to my Rebecca (pic in another thread), I've also had blooms on my Ville de Lyon and Mrs. N. Thompson starting about a week ago. It's a crazy year for clematis in this region!

Beautiful! How old is it?

2 years, bought it from Aldi as sort of bare root plant, it just had few tiny leaves, kept it in a container and kept indoors through 2015 winter and then planted it on ground last summer :-)
