Semi miniature AV recommendations?

Hello, I'm new here and just starting with African Violets. I went to my local nursery the other day and they only had a few but I did buy a Cranberry Crush and a NOID miniature. For my next purchase I'd like to find a semi miniature, preferably blue color but open to others, that's easy to grow and bloom with just natural light in a windowsill. Any recommendations from you experienced growers would be very much appreciated:)

Ness' Crinkle Blue is a fantastic variety. One of the very best hybrids out there IMO.

I have loved Robs Chilly Willy, Jolly Orchid, and optimara little sapphire! :). Those are all blue. :) I think the optimara is the only one that gets big enough to be considered semi mini.

Ness's Crinkle Blue was already mentioned and I agree it's a good one. Here's a photo of mine in bloom now.

Another one you might like is Rob's Shadow Magic:

Someone already mentioned Jolly Orchid, which for me blooms white in my warm temps and only has the barest hint of color in winter. But it's a great, heavy bloomer that is very forgiving.

If you like red's Jolly Mars is another very easy one that blooms nicely.

One of my top favorites for a medium-dark pink is Rob's Macho Devil but being a variegated you'd want to be sure it gets good light in winter so it doesn't stall.

And one more Rob's that is easy and a good bloomer is Rob's Itchy Britches for a nice little fantasy splash in pale purple and pink.

I could go on and on as I collect a lot of minis and semi-minis. Pixie Blue is another one if you like simple flowers and it being a trailer.

I completely forgot to mention the Cajun's minis and semis. They are harder to find but Cajun's Lil' Tizzy is wonderful.

And one of my other favorite semi-minis is Rob's Outer Orbit!

OK, I'll stop now. I promise. Please don't encourage me or I could go on all day with these things. ;)

So many beautiful photos! I just ordered Ness' Crinkle Blue and added the others to my wishlist. Thanks for the recommendations!

Enjoy! There's a ton of awesome minis out there and they are mostly what I collect. There's even a minis only African Violet group on Facebook if you ever get on there.

I just posted a photo of Mac's Glacial Grape which I grow in natural light. It's a very nice plant. Rob's Blue Light, is a mini with blue flowers and pale green leaves which blooms non-stop in natural light. That said, it's the ONLY Rob's that has done well in the window, for me. I love Plumberry Glow, it grew amazingly under lights, can't get it to bloom in the window. (I don't have lights anymore.)

Thank you! Yes I've been reading that Rob's don't often do well in natural light so great to hear of some that do. I love that light blue color. Lovely photo of Mac's Glacial Grape, will be adding that one to my list! I'm sure at some point I'll invest in lights but I'm just beginning to learn how to care for AV's so working on filling my windows first.

Mac's I'm told usually require especially high light to bloom well so nice if you found one that does great in the window. I haven't grown many Macs myself and only have one just now.

I grew in window light for decades (about 40 years) and only changed over to lights once I was growing streptocarpus, many which require much higher lumens to do well, or propagate from leaves well. Very nice.

A lot of the Optimaras do really well in window light. Not nearly as well as they do under lights, but still not badly! For my AV's I find cheap 4 foot light strips from Walmart ($10) with only 1 tube in them work just fine, though I use high output T5's for my streptocarpus.

I've had very good success growing on window sills! Maybe it's our newer Windows? I have plants at east and south Windows, no further than 4" away from the window glass... And they do splendid. I only occassionally use lights when I have a few violets I want to display away from a window. :)
