It looks fine to me. In your location, you get plenty of humidity, so you don't need to dunk it in water as often as people do who live in dry areas of the world (though if you have dry seasons, then you can provide more moisture to your plant). Also, if your tap water has chlorine and other chemicals added, if you can set some aside to allow some of those chems to evaporate, that would be good (for all plants). A day or two at least. Or use fresh-water aquarium water or rainwater to dunk or mist the plants. Since your plant is in flower, it may have started to "pup" or grow daughter/offset plants. You can gently check among the lower leaves to see if any new growth has started (too, sometimes plants don't need to flower before they start to start offsets). Thanks debbyabq! I'm new to having an air plant so i got really worried. Regarding chlorine content in the tap water, i'm not sure, so i'll probably just set it aside for a day to be sure.

A few days after, the brown tips seem to be creeping more towards the base of the leaves. Getting quite nervous and wondering if this is normal due to flowering or if i have to change watering/location.

Also, the flower is getting near its blooming time with its purple-colored buds showing.
