Bathroom layout
This is my current floor plan. I need more space for my shower. There is a wall between the vanity are and the shower area. And the shower is built in. If I replace the walls with glass it will and a few inches in each direction which would be an improvement. Anyone have any ideas for me? This bathroom is directly over the utility room in the basement, so I think I can move fixtures at a reasonable cost. There is no wall between the bedroom and sink area, so the door can go anywhere along the "wall".

9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoSwitch the shower toilet area with the vanity and open it into one room. You will lose a ft of vanity space but gain a 3x6 shower area.

3x5 shower and 60 inch vanity and I think you can get in to it from the bedroom instead of the garden ;)

The shower is approximately 5 x 4 less the 1 x 1 full height storage. There could be a shower bench behind the storage.The vanity would need to be custom built to allow to wrap the corner and I would put a pocket door.
