I am converting 7 of my 9 sprinkler zones to drip irrigation. Our city supplies secondary water that is a mixture of river water and well water. My 1-inch main line has a screen filter. I am going to put finer filters on each of the 3/4-inch drip lines. Screen filters (200 mesh) would be easy to flush clean. It sounds like disc filters might filter out smaller particles. Would they be worth the extra effort required for cleaning?
