Hi Hyn Patty, these are looking great. Amazing skill there... I stopped at 3 as its get rather slimy and messy for my fat fingers :)

I usually only do 2 or 3 myself. I just did the one that was 5 of them for amusement sake to see if I could do it. But it was a bit trickier and by that point I was gluing myself to them so ... yeah. I will probably do a few more eventually. I also want to stick a few of my arabicum seedlings together (not dwarfs) and see how that goes over time. May or may not be a good idea with them because they tend to branch out and get wide on their own but hey, I have to try it anyway!

Lol, i can imagine that... which was why I had to skip superglue for my grafted baby ade. My triplets looking unbalanced now as one of the ade is growing much faster than the other 2. Will be interesting to see how your grafted 5 develop into with their different growth rates :)

I /hope/ they will be different sizes. I chose them specifically so that in pairs, one would be larger than another, and tried to do that to a lesser degree with the trios as well. I think it's visually a lot more interesting and more natural looking if they aren't too closely matched. That's too stagnate for my tastes. But growth like that can be adjusted if any of them take off too much. Trim that one's roots more, or pinch buds.

Thanks Patty, I didn't know how this procedure was called. Yours look awesome. I haven't tried with that many yet. I spliced together 2 of them when they were really small and now they are a lot bigger. It's funny to see how one seems to overgrow the other one.

I am in the midst of relocating to another house so I'm driving back and forth across state moving. But I'll try to get some photos. They have all been doing well and growing pretty nicely in our heat. I haven't had much time to do more than glance at my seedlings for a while now.

A few of my conjoined adeniums - since you asked for an update. They are doing all right. Some that were joined higher up the caudex have split partially apart but still have their roots well intermingled. I probably should have kept those ones bound snug together so I may slice them again to get rid of the scar and rebind them to make sure they stay stuck.

I forgot about the splicing of seedlings Hyn they are going great still dont know how you done the five they would of been stuck to my hand:×)

Yea it reminded me to check my remaining fake twin i found it tucked away behind my other seedlings i will put a picture up in spring it doesn't look good at the moment
