Need opinion on window covering

I need your opinions on window coverings for the windows in my living/dining room. I am considering Hunter Doulgas woven wood shades, specifically Provenance, Rustica collection in "weathered timber". I do not want a tailored modern look or a fussy look with fabric as I already have valances which I want to keep. Any opinions? I am attaching pictures of my room and some pictures from Houzz which I like .
