Gorilla hair mulch or other mulch solution for slope

Hi There! I am in NE PA and looking for gorilla hair mulch (redwood or cedar, not gorilla), or something similar that will stay on a steep slope where I have young groundcover plants and another steep slope with a mixture of plants with groundcover filling in. I can't fint it anywhere local. Regular mulch makes its way to the bottom of the slope in about 6 weeks. Thanks for looking! April

I've never heard of such a thing, but I can tell you pine needle mulch doesn't fall down the cliff. I've used that on the side of my road, which is only about 4' high, but steep enough regular mulch ends up in what would be gutters if my country road had them.

CEFreeman, Where do you get the pine needle mulch? I quickly googled and came up blank. Farms? your own property? Is it available in your area?

I looked for it for years, because I saw it on TV. Then, one year it was bagged at a garden center. This year, my neighbor was complaining about all the needles under his trees and I helped him out. LOL!
