Delays are aggravating! Maybe you can hunt for more compost pile worms in the meantime.

Hey tipytoes you know what you can do when they get here-- you can wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Dedicated worm farmers learn patience if they dont already have it.

theparsley.... no i cant as the last time Pete was here My husband and Pete trenched the pile. and i can't really go digging in his garden can i. i will just have to wait and wait............and wait.

GOOD news. i heard from my venda and the cocoons will be posted of to me in the morning (tuesday 9th) so i am super excited for us both so we can get them home and get started. ow to see if all our reading has sunk in and put it all into practice. the worms Colin got from Pete's C-pile are doing OK in there flower pot so they have been my practice run lol lol

Good news. my order arrived. the bad news i only found 10 cocoons a 3 babys. and believe me i search the bedding they come in "which was bone dry" for an hour or more.

to say i am disappointed is an understatement. my son Louie even more so. so the 10 cocoons that we do have are being spoilt so we can hopefully get them to hatch out and start building up a good number to work with. it works out @ £1-92 each so yes i am going to spoil them.

fingers crossed in a couple of weeks i will see small worms.

well up to date i only have 4 bay worms through the 1st 3 i had have grown. so i am kidding myself i have a herd.
