Isn't it exciting to watch them grow? Maybe it's because i'm 'new' to having my own fruit trees. I see alot of fruitlets on my new kishus. Still waiting for them to 'set' and become bigger like yours.

Steve, how old and established is your plant? It took mine a few years to reach critical mass.

I call them funny ball of lemons haha! I don't know if they have set or not, but I expect most of them or maybe all of them to drop.

amanda did you get your GN yet? Mother's day is coming up. Those fruitlets can still drop. Rule of thumb is that if they make it to a quarter size, then it's pretty much set. Considering how small kishus are, i think dime or nickle size will be more appropriate. Gonna switch to my phone and add a photo.

the whole branch is loaded with tiny fruitlets. i hope i get a good fruit set.

i have 3 trees coming next week and I've been waiting 3 months to repot that lemon so that I would only have to make the mix once haha!

The extent of the Four winds NZL, A gift from Pip. I thought 4 lemons might grow. This tree is the mother of all 5 flower and fruit drop cases. It is not of critical mass.

This is my NZL grafted to us897 Cleopatra X flying dragon true dwarfing rootstock.Total foliage is in the 2 circles. Not enough mass to support even 1 lemon unless it under goes a good flush after the fruits take. I plan to break off all but 1 fruit in each cluster for 3 fruits so the plant doesn't flower again. If the fruits fall on their own I will plant the tree outside in ground in its space within the greenhouse perimeter. I will then have all 5 of my citrus trees in ground.
