what colour of Granite for a countertop, tiles for a backsplash and flooring would be best for honey oak cupboards in a kitchen with stainless steel appliances for an updated look

Your cabinets appear to be hickory. If you will go to the Photos section of Houzz and type in Hickory Kitchen Cabinets, you will be able to see some great photos of how other kitchens with similar cabinets were designed - counters, backsplashes, etc. Your cabinets are beautiful.

Hello...The cabinets in the kitchen above are in fact hickory, not honey oak. However for honey oak cabinetry you can use a lot of different colors of granite. Probably something in the gold tones (warm tones) would be best. If you are local we are happy to give you a free inhome estimate and design consultation.
