Just looked up Sarabande.. seems a bit shorter than waht I want.. Looking for a taller grass for screen, but I could use the Sarabande for other areas!

If you want the flowers/seedheads to be part of the display, then I'd focus on those two.

Is your z5 from the Canadian zonal system? If so, that equates to a US z4 and those two are two of the most cold tolerant miscanthus cultivars. Most others are listed to USDA 5 or 6 only.

'Strictus' is another that I have grown for many years. Yes agree on 'Sarabande' and 'Malepartus, they are very hardy for me too.
