I picked up an Impressions Corsican 50 Rain Barrel from Costco. This looks like the Capri model, except it doesn't have a deep area for plants on top, just a flat space for rocks, with a screen for water to enter the barrel and a notch in the lip for overflow. It comes with spigots for the two exit holes, but no diverter for getting water into it.

What's the best way to connect a diverter to this, and which diverter would be best? Browsing around the Home Depot web site, most diverters seem designed for a sealed system.
