Absolutely would not pay for this quality of workmanship. If I tiled a shower it would probably look like this as I would be a beginner. You are paying a tradesman here who needs to do a professional quality of work. If the guy can't fix someone else will need to.....and I wouldn't pay for this twice!

That is completely unacceptable. I would not pay him nor would I ask him to redo it. If that is grout at the transition of your walls and floor, it is incorrect. That should be caulked. I would bring in another tile person to look it over and get their opinion. Is the other bathroom just as bad?

Yikes, that's awful. All the options don't even help, the time, mess and even money. I'm getting ready to remodel our bathroom, I will be keeping a close watch and vetting the contractor for sure now.

Ouch... those poor tiles. Definitely withhold payment until the job is done to the correct standards, or hire a professional to re-tile.
