Looks like the graft line is just beneath the new growth to me, so you'll be good.

Mike I click on the picture to enlarge it and drag it to my desk top I use a program called "Paint" to open the file. The rest is plugging around on the buttons to do what you want to do. In my case there is a top row of commands to do what you want to do. I use Microsoft windows 10

If the lower point is indeed the graft point then it is probably the best graft in the world. I wonder how would one achieve such a graft. As far as I know one would still need a branch or two in the beginning below the intended graft point. To me it looks like that portion was at the soil line at some point and that is why there is a difference in colour. Although I would have thought it would have been lighter in colour below that line.

The upper one is hard to tell. A picture from another side may be helpful.

Sure. I took off the support too. This may help. To me, looks like the graft may be there.

If you have a picture of the plant leaves before it died it may help you compare the leaf shapes.At least it does not look like trifoliate leaves.

I am still skeptical that such a low graft can be achieved. It is possible that the grafted plant was buried deep in the soil and it may have produced roots like a cutting. Second whoever did that graft must be a master - the line is nearly horizontal and the scion/rootstock were perfectly matched.
