Good morning! We recently moved into this sweet cottage. I bought the throw pillows to soften up the dark leather a little and will also be adding some other pops of green with some plants and a few more feminine touches. We are by no means done decorating or even unpacking as you can see:) We also still have some work to do on the furniture arrangement.

I'm struggling with selecting a rug for this space. The side entrance to the house (which is the one everyone uses) is on the right side of this picture and the kitchen is open and to the left so it's a high traffic area. The long windows face the street. This isn't our formal living room, but we will probably use this seating area more often. So. What sort of rug? Should I get a neutral one or pattern? Would I need an area rug or just an accent rug? I've attached a few pictures of what I've played around with. Thanks!
