How are everyone getting these cool hoya at Walmart, homes depot, or lowes, of all places?? I'm lucky if there are just carnosa here. XD hahaha

They are easy to care for. You can let it dry out a bit in the winter time. In the second year you should get blooms! LOTS of blooms that smell like butterscotch.

I figured it wasn't too difficult to care for. The bottom one in the photo will be sold, I bought both with the notion that if I buy them they'll ship more Hoyas to this particular Wal-Mart! lol Not sure how accurate that assumption is but hey, it's worth a try. :)

EA has always had the wrong name on this one. It's actually DS-70. Bilobatas leaves are smaller and smoother. In this photo, I'm holding bilobata in front of DS-70.

DS-70 leaves are matte, almost like hardish-fuzzy, and they get a tinge of black on the edges with some sun. Bilobata leaves are about 2/3 (maybe even half) the size of DS-70 and have a smooth surface. My bilobata hasn't bloomed for me yet, but this is what you can expect from DS-70...Some people claim they smell like butter, but I've never detected a fragrance.

You're so lucky. Those plants are beautiful. I went to two different Walmart in CT and they didn't have any Hoyas. Also Lowe's had a couple of Hoya Rubra but nothing else interesting. Home Depot had no Hoyas.
