Corytoplectus cutucuensis Fruit & Seed

Here I am bebopping around my studio doing my thing and I think, 'Hmm, I should harvest the berries from my corytoplectus cutucuensis and get them drying so I'll have a lots of fresh seed!'

I plucked off the fruit and smeared them out over a paper plate to dry. And then I remembered that I have a local AVSA show coming up /this/ weekend and I should have saved this plant to take and enter! Though it's a rather small, pathetic example with slightly floppy leaves. Aw well, too late now! Maybe next year.

A single berry can have 1,000 seeds or more so there's a whole lot more than I need in this batch. I listed some to my Esty shop but most of this I'll send onto the Gesneriad Society Seed Fund once it's dried.
