Just a few here and there's

St Cecilia has such an incredible fragrance, like a perfume . I have big dreams for this rose . Yesterday and then today

My perle d or has recovered from its winter die back and then move to new spot. I just adore this little cutie !

I want to hate ballerina and get rid of her due to the horrendous black spot she wears. But look at her! She's so gorgeous dang it. Like clouds ! I'm thinking of treating her for the black spot.

Royal jubilee! It's so pretty but to my nose it smells like rotten fruit ? It's so pretty next to teasing Georgia. It has a hint of yellow at its base and that goes so well with TG. Shown here

Blossomtime , my darling

First bloom of jackmanni bigger than my hand!

Then bonanza with sun pouring through it

I have more to share so I'll continue on

Hybrid musk Cornelia . I'm on the fence about her . This was the best looking bloom out of at least 100. We had lots of rain so no balling but like crumbly poorly open blooms . It is getting big and from afar it's pretty !

This bed is new. I can't get attached to it because my husband says it'll be in the way of our "dream pool " that maybe we can get next year. colette is my arbor rose but I wanted to share , the awesome yard sale find ! The "gates" on the arbor are a day bed frame! Isn't it perfect? My husband was like what is going on but now he likes it . :)

Andromeda clematis . All the double blooms are on the inside of the trellis between the fence ! Weird huh .

    "Pretty ! " :)

Such a little cutie your sweet sweet daughter is!!

Your roses are beautiful. I love your new flower bed. It's cool to find treasures you can repurpose and use in our gardens. It looks great. We're contemplating a pool too but all i'd lose is my hubbys grass. Lol. I love your clematis, especially Andromeda. Thanks for sharing, Judy

Aw what a cutie pie! Great pic.

Your garden looks great. I love the Ballerina! How old is yours? I just planted mine the other day. I hope it looks that good. I can't even tell it has BS.

Lot of pretties!! But especially the flower girl. She's a doll. Your daybed frame used that way is awesome! I have an iron footboard for a rose to climb on and my hubby made me a swing out of the headboard. Love repurposing things! Girl, it looks like you have lots of land... put the pool somewhere else :))

It all looks great! Love your garden helper. And clever idea with the repurposing. I'm also realizing that I need more clematis in my garden. I only have two so far. Can't wait until my teasing georgia starts blooming. She is just starting to leaf up here. And my newly planted royal jubilee is starting to form a bud. Can't wait!

Btw - we are also contemplating a pool. On the fence because of the short season. So 80% of my backyard is lawn still. I did not want to make beds until we decide. My yard is quite a bit smaller than yours!

Thanks everyone!! April I bet your swing is beautiful. Hallo , clematis are so fun and easy to sqweeze in . I have put in about 12 or so this season . Of course they are easy to put in now and I've never had one get monstrous yet ! Lol it won't be long though. I really want a pool but I'm nervous about the work involved! Can't wait for you to share photos of your royal jubilee as well as TG. My rj is about to open but we are away for a week ! Boo .

Haha, that is so funny that you have Royal Jubilee as well as Jubilee Celebration since I would love to get RJ too. How would you compare them? Which do you like better? Perhaps it is too early to tell.

I agree. The views are always gorgeous. Wish I had more land but prob good I don't bc I'd be trying to plant everything under the sun. The roses and clematis all look beautiful!!! Who is the one you gave up for dead?

What a great walk down memory lane! Incredible how much your little one has grown up. LF, is that a representative picture of Teasing Georgia's colour? I'm still back and forth on this one for a spot on my fence, but am afraid it's too bold. Yours has such a soft colouring. Did it get large for you? How was its growth habit and health? You are the nearest to my conditions to grow this rose outside of FD in NJ.

Vapor , mine would sometimes be more golden for sure . It was large , seems to top out at 7-8 ft by 4 wide and was a very nice vase shape shrub that was self supported. It bloomed a lot . Seeing these pics makes me want to buy it again .. but I’m not sure I have the room!

Very good health , some blackspot but never naked from it . I’d just brush the leaves off . It really was one of my favorite roses!

thank you so much jjoc !!! Glad you brought this thread up :)

Well this looks wide .. I’ll say maybe 5 ft then ? But it shaped up easily ! :)

Lilyfinch, I was looking up threads of St Cecilia and found yours! I also look back at my own posts sometimes, which makes me appreciate how my garden and roses have changed over time... how is your SC growing these days?

Nice to see your pics of TG. I like this rose as well, but was afraid of the thorniness that some have mentioned.

Im sure your little princess has also grown into a little lady... it’s always amazing to me how fast they grow!
