Beautiful blooms.! I have a young interceps plant that is setting a sheath. I am hoping it will bud and bloom. I love the shape of both anceps and intermedia.

I was one of the people who received one from you. No flowers yet, I'm a bit behind you in the growing season. My new growth is only about 3" now. I don't expect flowers this year, maybe next year. It took a little while for it to get used to being up north.

I also have a division. It is doing well but no flowers yet. Yours are stunning! I can't wait for mine to flower!

It took 11 days more for these 2 flowers to open. The mounted for the first time had one less flower and progressively got behind in time to the potted one. The potted intermedia also had bigger flowers and bigger leaves. Had I not grown the 2 side by side I would have been very pleased with the mounted one. I still like the mount but now I know this plant in the methods I use to grow prefers potted. It may be true for you but I'm guessing different climates and cultures could get different results. Anyway you do it intermedia is a Catt worth having...

Now I so miss all the intermedias I had....used to grow them in baskets with the vandas... beautiful plant Harvey
