After lifting and repotting your adenium, what is your technique for conditioning the caudex to prevent sunburn? I would like to hear what different people do.

I started with full shade for about a week. Then I moved to morning sun for about two hours, pulling my plant back into shade by mid-to-late morning. I'm not sure how long the process should take.

I can still see dramatic color variation between the old, conditioned portion of caudex and the fresh, white portion that was beneath the soil. Do you wait until the caudex color is uniform before moving to the next highest exposure?

How long until you get your plant back to full, all-day sun? How many exposure steps?
