I had the same thing happen last week. The second time I tried to post I just left both posts alone and the duplicate eventually vanished. Not sure if it was ever in Hot Topics. I avoid that place like the plague.

Others have had similar issues while posting.

Yep, same thing happened to me a couple of times last week too. Frustrating!

Okay, I'll try one more time. Hopefully if the duplicate lands in HT I won't be excoriated for it.

I posted again and again the dupe is in HT, including a comment I made. Eff it, I give up.

Same thing happened to me, and when I deleted one of them they both disappeared.

Hot Topics? Maybe they thought you were talking about cleaning your oven. (oops, sorry)

I thought maybe it was to shame me for all the time I've spent reading stuff over there. This will teach her!

The dupes have happened to me a few times too. First time I tried to delete one and then realized both disappeared. So the I just left the second one and it disappeared on its own. Didn't know they're going to Hot Tops - how crazy.
