Because the Territorial Seed Company's Fall and Winter 2017 Catalog/Planting Guide just arrived. This might be the earliest I've ever received it.

If you do not receive this catalog---you should. It has all the info you need about what to grow for a fall and winter harvest. Their winter garden planting guide is, of course, oriented to PNW gardeners since they are based in Oregon, but it is pretty easy to adapt it to us. The catalog is almost 70 pages, and also has some supplies and stuff that are usable year-round.

When I flip through their catalog after it arrives, my first thought is always that I have plenty of seed and there's really nothing I need, so I am just going to look. Ha. Famous last words. I always find things I want to order.
