dont they look weird the rest look nice and healthy do you have much success with germinating in sand

Hi Peter, yes the albino looks weird, just imagine to be doomed to die, poor adeniums, there's no hope for them. The propagating sand from Bunnings was an experiment I was going to post on the forum, before I noticed the albino and decided to post photos as they usually live up to 2 weeks. So far, the sand proved to be a good medium for germinating seeds. They came up pretty fast. Still waiting for some more to show up as there are 10 seeds in each box. I will see how they develop in sand. I usually use coco peat perlite, vermiculite.

cool i found vermiculite retained to much water i used it in my early days and i lost alot of seeds they roted
