Most likely from the lack of light. I would place it in filtered shade or just morning sun for a little bit to see if greens up. Very interesting and thanks for sharing it.

Figured it would be entertaining at least. I have it rooting, I guess we'll see if it greens up or not.

I've heard of people trying to root inflorescences, if it doesn't turn green or die, I might try that. I have a other plumerias it might be able to leach off of for nutrients.
