My Aquarite is controlled by a Aqualink RS8. The actually salt PPM is not matching what the display is showing on my RS8. Using a Taylor test kit, my water is testing at 3700PPM. My Aquarite is only showing 2100PPM so I get a constant 'Check Cell' message.

I've attempted to reset/recalibrate the Aquarite by removing the four remote wires on that connect my Aqaurite to the RS8, and then following the instructions on this video.

1. Move the switch from Auto to Off then to Auto again

2. Wait for a click

3. Press diagnostic buttons five times

4. Move switch to Superchlorinate to calibrate

5. Reconnected the RS8

I'm only able to get the read out to show 3600 but after a week or so, it has dropped back down to 2100.

What am I doing wrong?
