Irrigating three new fruit trees

Hello recently I had my contractor plant two orange trees and a soft persimmon in an area of my backyard that slopes down. He did a good job, the new trees look good. Right now I'm irrigating manually every couple of days. I want to install an automated system. Unfortunately the contractor started a big new project elsewhere and he's going to be busy for a while, so I was wondering would seeing if I could do it myself. I have a nearby water line with an adapter to connect it to 3/4 PVC. What is the best system I can use for these trees to grow quickly? Soaker hose, drip system, bubbler? Now and for the next couple of years we want the trees to develop as much as possible and not necessarily focus on a lot of fruit production, if this makes a difference. Should I also add some fertilizer? The location is on the hills near the Bay Area, California.
