I recently picked up this 'Sicilian' Fig (ficus carica sicilian) at a garden show. Everything with it was going very well up until two weeks ago. A few of the leaves started to brown at the edges and then spots on the inside of the leaves began to form.

I keep the tree inside in direct light, but sometimes move it to a window for some light. I keep the soil damp but not saturated and the pot has a drainage hole for excess water.

Just wondering if I was somehow able to burn some of the leaves or if there was something else going on here. Also what corrective action should I be taking to keep this tree healthy.

I did have an issue with spider mites but dont think it's related. The browning stated before I noticed the mites. As you can see from the last picture not all of the leaves have the browning to them.
