Curtains with this tile?

My daughter's bathroom tile is what is shown on this picture. This isn't her bathroom, just one I found as we are building our home now. She has subway tile in her shower. Subway tile is white, walls are white. The basketweave tile in the floor is white and grey with black.

Her bedroom, which adjoins her bathroom, is pink and white. We don't have a third color yet. Shiplap walls, all white. The ceiling and her bedding are pale pale pink. The house is farmhouse/low country.

So back to the bathroom. I have a curtain fabric dilemma. I'm doing cafe curtains, no valance. Hopefully single pleat w rings but maybe just rod pocket. Here are some ideas below. What do you think? I don't want the curtain to be the focal point and if the curtain is too dark, it might be.

Thanks!

I wouldn't add the pink into the curtain. I would keep the cafe curtains all white, or white with a solid black trim. Add the pink to tie it together with accessories such as a pink flower in a vase, some pink fancy soap. It's amazing how little things those can go a long way! I'm not a designer but that's my opinion. Her house sounds adorable!!

I think the first fabric sample, pink rises on black, is sharp. But I would tend to hang plain white linen curtains, or some white on white cotton fabric, and hang white towels.

of those two, i prefer the first one.

i get the advice you are receiving, to not push too hard on the pink. but at some level you can commit beyond a bar of soap... they are just a single pair of tiers, not full length drapes on 4 windows... i wouldnt advise a pink tub, but i think some pink in the curtains is fine.

i just dont care for the pink on pink ones.

Thank you all, and what about this one in gray if going very neutral?

I have to say searching for black and pink curtains hasn't been the easy job I thought it would be!

I think the pink fabric is charming!

Something simple, you could use soft pink in accessories, love basket weave tiles

If you sew - this cut to length - bows.

Not country cotton, but polyester if that helps.

I like the idea of plain white cafes on rings. The bathroom sounds beautiful.

She's at an age where a little more grown-up look will carry her forward. Is she involved with this decorating process? It's a good opportunity to get her interested in the subtleties of design and why thing work together or not.

I'm afraid she's not interested in the least.

Too bad but that is normal.

    I like the first option!

A friend gave me this idea for material - and while I love ticking so much, the lines in the tile, both basketweave and subway, are too much for the lines in this fabric, do you think? That's why I was looking at floral, etc. But maybe I'm wrong!
Also wondering about curtain weights with cafe curtains... anyone know whether that is a good idea?
I like the ticking, I think it's soft enough that it would probably be OK and not too many lines. My first choice would still probably be plain white maybe with some cute white balls as trim. But it sounds like you're really picturing some pink there and I think this classic ticking would be perfect option.

I think my problem is that I love the pink, black and pink, white, the white with bows - all these ideas!

If this helps: I like your black background/ pink floral. It could be prettier/ more girlish with a sheer fabric over it... you know what I mean? Would be less striking also [you said? cause of pattern already planned with tiles, etc....]

The pink fabric - more interesting maybe, with matching blue or black or white tabs - though you said rings... I am curious how you'd define 'low country'... if you would explain.... thank you.

I like the pink and black but I think you could find a better fabric option. No weights needed on cafe curtains.

Why not get some pink gingham material and add some black ribbon trim, I've lightly glue gunned ribbon onto fabric, works great. The little squares will tie in with the tile. Some use pretty tea towels, just a though

Hi, thank you all so much for the great ideas. We have a housing community here that is all "low country", modeled after Habersham in SOuth Carolina. Google Habersham, so lovely! My house is really a Farmhouse style but they accepted it. The other houses look very Charleston and Savannah.
