Shame on you for talking about something we don't know anything about. (kidding) Wish you showed a picture. Looks so much like a common trifasciata. Seems to grow much larger. Wish you had a variegated type. I was promised a variegated one a few years ago but she left here. Maybe next time. Thanks Vitorama.

i wouldn't have even thought to ask you Stush, because you are all about variegates only, it seems. Alva has similar markings to trifasciata, but the leaves and deeply channeled and much thinner.

No problem, it's too big for me anyway. Would love to see yours when you get it all together and growing well.

I received the package from vitorama today! All three cuttings were in good shape, and vitorama has clearly marked the up end. Thanks! I plan to leave them at a warm and bright spot in my study until I see the first pup, then move them out.

Looks good but myself, I would have planted them in smaller pots (3") and mostly gravel grit. Thanks for the pictures and would love to see updates later.

Totally agree. My work would probably get a C or D in a horticultural class. My other pots are either too large or too small. The media was a sandy succulent mix. I'd like to use Al's gritty mix when my wife allocates more budget for me to fool around. :D

Oh no! LOL. I was wondering why the up end cut was slanted. Never thought they would be the down end. Dumb me.

I fixed them. On close examination, the wound of the marked ends already has tiny root bumps shown. I should've noticed.

I figured you wouldn't want to see the arrows on your plants anyway so bury them. Lol. Glad they're ok.
