From the look of my last message I need to learn how to speak English again LOL can someone identify this one have never seen a flower a little piece was given to me and I just stuck it in the ground had one tiny little leaf and now it's giving me four new leaves

I had a similar looking one many years ago that I got off eBay and it was simply called Rhizomas which is a ridiculous name for a begonia but what was I to do? Not buy it? Here it is (lost it a few years ago).

Too many begonias that look alike so it would be hard to ID this. The shape and size of the leaves remind me of 'Ricinifolia' and there are many hybrids from this hybrid as well with 'Immense' being one of the most popular.

A smaller one in the front. The taller green one I think is manicata, and the other big green one to the right is U445 so you can get an idea of how many big green begonias that are out there

PS - gardengal showed the differences between begonias (one tuberous although the photo did not show the tuber) and heuchera. Heucheras are hardy whereas most begonias are not. If you live in a region that gets frost-freezes-snow, etc. you must move all begonias inside for winter (almost all begonias will not survive a cold winter - there are a handful that are hardy). Heucheras are hardy enough for zone 4 to 9.

Thank you so much for all of your information I absolutely loved it I read it all. I learned a lot I think I now know why my plant has never flowered as gorgeous as it is I don't think it was getting enough Sun. I've been hiding it in the shade to make sure that it doesn't burn.
