Checked my local Depot today, all they had were C Stars plumies, Lemon Yellow and Ruby Star. Of course, I picked up one of each :)

Thanks for the update Daogirl! I have only seen C-Star plants for now but will go continue hunting.

I'm gonna miss "the hunt" at Lowe's! I moved to NC...no plumerias at stores here. :(

Dar - where are you located? I've seen a mix of C-stars and JJ at most places.

I talked to people at jungle jacks and they told me they have them at Home Depot and lowes but only in California right now they also told me they hope to have them in Texas next year. They are all Thailand varieties from my understanding. Most are not as tall which is nice and they branch well and flower well but I also hear most flowers are small and have minimal scent and don't produce as many flowers as other plumerias from other parts.

Hey rox! Lots of leaves here, final two plants waking up now. Only one inflo on the 25 plants I brought though. I remember my plants were slow to wake up last year...

Asked about plumerias at Lowe's today and was told they don't grow in our zone. Pfffft. Yet they had a huge tropical section with adeniums!!

Scored a few JJs at Lowe's! Got a Jubilee with an inflo, a California Sunset with an inflo on one of the two branches, and a Dynamite with four tips, but no inflos right now. Can't wait for flowers!!!

It's at the 46 East at Golden Hill road, about a mile and a half east of the 101.

wellll, I picked up 2 more. Vertigo and Malika. To be fair, I saw the Malika, put it down, came back almost a week later and it was still there, so it was obviously meant to be. This is it, I promise. ;)

Hey. I'm in Tallahassee, Fl. The selection is very limited this year. Only 4 varieties at 3 Lowes stores--Elsie, Jack Red, Divine, and Valentine. I picked up Valentine only because I didn't have it, but there is no scent to the flower. It does appear to be a good bloomer, though.

I normally buy 7 or 8 varieties each year, so I was a little disappointed, but I have 34 other varaites, so I'm willing to trade some!

My California Sunset started blooming.......not quite as much pink as I expected, but they have a super rich, buttery fragrance :)

I was tempted by that one too. Sometimes the color changes as the flower matures. Sounds like it has a lovely scent.
