I got S. radula seeds from Robin over a year ago but was not able to plant them until this year. So far, this plant has been very successful for me in Southern California and I'm trialing some mixed in with my mostly native landscape. I planted the seeds in the first week of February and have blooms now in May. It hasn't needed much water and seems to put on bulk everyday. Also, it doesn't drop dead from the Santa Ana winds as other "tough" plants seem to do. I have had to remove looper moth caterpillars once when they were small but so far so good. Bloomed within 4 months! That seems pretty good.
